Chauntelle Way ConnectivityWalk 3 of our Healthy

bridge over the River Ock from the northside of the area which takes you
by path to the main Tesco store or along the River Ock to Mill
Road.  Also from the western end of the area, there is a right of
way through a farmers field which takes you to Mill Road.
The areaThis is a long, thin area of about
400m by 100m.  Going from east to west, it is divided into three
areas separated by areas of trees.  Walking from Drayton Drayton
Road, you enter an pleasant green open area then cross an avenue of
trees which takes you into into a larger open area.  You then pass
through another area of trees which hides a gas utilities
building.  This takes you from Ladygrove Meadow into Chaunterelle
Recreation Ground.  Here you find a football ground and children's
play area.  The northern side of this area has an number of pieces
of adult exercise equipment, some of which is hidden among the trees and
bushes. During the summer months, Active
communities run keep fit sessions in the Chaunterlle Way recreation
        area on Saturday mornings.
