Access

The only entrance to the park is on the private road extension of South Quay.  One of the children's nature trails, The Duck Trail, goes into the park.

The park

This is perhaps the most unusual park in Abingdon because of its location and surroundings.  It is on a peninsula between the Abingdon Marina and the River Thames.  The northern end of the peninsula is a nature reserve which cannot be accessed.  The path shown above circles the park. The park is approximately 100 by 200m.  It is full of mature shrubs and trees between which are lawn areas.  There are many benches in the park which can be located using our benches page.  In addition to the views in the park itself, there are interesting views from the park of the marina and the River Thames.  In addition to the normal recreational activities in the park, it hosts outdoor yoga sessions.
