Activity
The TeaBooks project runs book
groups for older people (over-60s) in a variety of settings across
Oxfordshire. There is currently one group in Abingdon and but a further 3
in the Vale of White Horse, meeting every
three to four weeks. All books are borrowed from the library, so there's
no book-buying costs, and large print and audio versions are often
available. There is a small charge of £1 per session to cover admin
costs. Each group is led by a volunteer group leader who organises the
books and ensures everyone feels welcome!
